At Ross Pilates and Conditioning we welcome new clients! Whether you are new to Pilates, are an experienced participant or are currently working around an injury, we invite you to give us a try. All of our instructors are trained and certified in the Pilates Process Method which offers a refined, contemporary approach to Pilates incorporating current scientific research on movement and core stability.

I started coming to Ross Pilates about 1 year ago on the recommendation of my friend, who just happens to be a personal trainer at a local gym. She was excited for me to try out Deb’s special offer on individual sessions as she felt it was something that I could manage with my physical limitations. I was told about 6 years ago that I had chronic osteoarthritis in both knees and that when I was ready, I would need to have total knee replacements. I had been a very active person who loved to power walk, hike, bike, kick box, practice yoga as well as do the occasional boot camp “just because”.
I found Ross Pilates on the recommendation of my physiotherapist/osteopath who stressed that the most effective approach to rehabilitation, strengthening and prevention of back injury is through pilates. I started my therapeutic pilates process by taking 8 private classes.
The initial session entailed a very thorough assessment including gathering information about past injuries, posture evaluation, and detailed information sharing about the ways in which pilates helps to strengthen core, rehab injuries, and prevent further injury. After just three 3 private sessions, I was surprised to discover that I had added a mile to my run without any of the discomfort I had been experiencing. I also noticed that I was sitting up straighter in my office chair, and while driving, and felt less nervous that I was just one movement away from another disc rupture.
I am making incredible progress following my hip replacement with Debbie Ross at Ross Pilates and Conditioning. She came highly recommended by a personal trainer who said I would make better progress with someone with her skills. Debbie is obviously extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the human body and musculature.
My progress has been fantastic and I have reached my goal of better strength following my surgery. I have also been inspired to create better core strength and am experiencing a better approach to fitness than I have had in years. I highly recommend Debbie Ross and Ross Pilates and Conditioning.
