Susie Thompson joined our staff recently. You’ll find her either teaching or behind the front desk, greeting clients, booking appointments, answering questions and working with clients to ensure they have a great customer experience at Ross Pilates and Conditioning!
Susie was born and raised in Thunder Bay and has always been passionate about health and fitness. Susie was involved in many sports and activities but dedicated most of her time to soccer and dance. She was first introduced to Pilates when she injured her back playing soccer in 2004. The Pilates method played a large roll in her recovery. Seeing the physical benefits of her own Pilates practice inspired her to share the method with others by teaching.
Susie has been teaching Pilates since 2008 and has also worked as a personal trainer in addition to teaching TRX and Barre. Her favorite Pilates exercises are the teaser and the rollover in the mat series which challenge her core strength, balance, control and flexibility. Her favorite apparatus is the reformer because it allows an amazing full body workout without putting strain or pressure on your joints.
