I was looking for a form of exercise to better myself, Physically, Mentally and emotionally. I wanted to improve my overall strength and core stability. I researched Pilates and thought it would be a great fit for me.
I had always lived a very active lifestyle with sports and physical activities. Somewhere along the line I was suddenly too busy and too exhausted to do the activities that I loved. I had fallen into a very inactive lifestyle which wasn’t me. I was feeling weak, inflexible and mentally drained from skipping out on much needed me time. I would become winded quite quickly and my endurance was non-existent. I knew I needed to start taking care of myself again. My body needed a jumpstart to regain the strength and endurance I used to have. I wanted to get back to my healthy lifestyle, start to enjoy life and work towards becoming the best me I could be!
I can now say that Pilates has changed my body from head to toe! I have built up strength, flexibility and can now see definition and tone of my muscles. I have returned to participate in many of the sports and physical activities and find I have the strength and endurance to excel in them. Not only has it changed my body physically, I have also reaped the mental benefits of Pilates. Pilates is my Happy time! I can come into the studio feeling stressed or upset and leave feeling more relaxed and happy and ready to take on my day.
I love that Ross Pilates and Conditioning is a full Pilates studio. I have recently participated in the 21 day challenge this July which allowed me to try different classes and I have really fallen in love with all the different pieces of equipment. The staff is wonderful and the environment is inviting warm and friendly. It’s a place I love to come!
Pilates is a fantastic way to strengthen and tone your body. Pilates is for everyone! The instructors are great and there are always modifications to accommodate every age, skill level and injury. I encourage you to try it. Pilates has changed my life!
