Lida’s Story

“The best thing is I no longer have back pain! Pilates is amazing!”

I first started Pilates with Debbie back in 2002, when I was asked to join a mat class with a family member. My goals were to strengthen my core, increase flexibility and to tone up. I also had re-curing lower back pain and had gone for chiropractic treatments for 5-6 years with no real lasting results.

After taking mat classes, I added Pilates equipment workouts on the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels. Since starting Pilates I have noticed significant changes which include increased muscle strength, tone and a stronger core. The best thing is I no longer have lower back pain! I realized that Pilates is good self-care and is the most important thing I could do for my back.

I really enjoy the challenge that the instructors give me on a weekly basis to increase my strength and flexibility. I look forward to trying new exercises that push me to achieve even more. Pilates is an amazing total body workout!

Having greater flexibility and a stronger core has enabled me to do more of the things I love doing in life. If you are looking for a total body workout to gain a strong core, increase muscle strength and tone with qualified instructors, Ross Pilates is something you should consider.
